Snow Day

This past week Canterbury, and indeed most of England has been covered in snow. C-O-V-E-R-E-D in it, to the point where both Thursday and Friday most of the schools in the Kent area were closed. We had extremely heavy snow fall on Saturday morning/early afternoon, where you couldn't see that far down the road with the snow and the wind blowing around. This was horrendously exciting for me, because I love the snow, and I love snow days almost as much. On Thursday I was determined to go out and see people (snow be darned!). So I went over to my friend Katy's house. Her boyfriend Liam got snowed in there as well and so we made a day of hot cocoa, movies, and the inevitable Snow Ball Fights!

Now while I was sitting inside, minding my own buisiness watching A Knights Tale with Liam, Katy sneaks outside (without shoes I might add) mushes together a big snow ball, tucks it behind her back, walks into the living room, and chucks it at me. It collided right smack-dab in the middle of my chest! So while I'm gasping from the cold, shocked into immobility, the snow (as snow does) starts to melt and drip down my top, making me gasp even more. With vengence in mind, I jump up from the sofa, give Katy a warning glare as I scrape snow off my bosom, then start charging towards her. She squeals in delight and runs into the snow. It should be noted at this point that I am only wearing my socks, since putting shoes on wasn't on my to-do list for getting her back. Off I run in to the snow, slipping and sliding as a thin layer of ice forms on the bottom of my socks. I'm catching up to her now, a hastily made snowball in hand, and I'm just about to launch it at the back of her head when BAM!

I fall.
(<-- the spot where I fell) This was the epic type of fall where your legs keep moving as if you were still running, but you slowly fall on your bum. In a deperate attempt to save my poor bum from the oncoming impact I turn so I'll be able to land on my front, braced by my arms. That was my intention. What ended up actually happening was that I landed on my hip, because the slow-motion falling wasn't actually that slow. Needless to say it hurt. Katy turns just in time to see my graceless tumble, and slips and slides her way back to me, helping me up, while giggling like a maniac. She thought it was hilarious. I glanced at her with a mumbled "at least ONE of us thinks this is funny". Which encouraged her to giggle even more hysterically. But the day was fun, I got hit in the face by a few more snow balls later during our all-in fight, and as I was leaving two kids who lived in Katy's neighbourhood came and attacked us with snow balls again, and we creamed them. So many snowballs flew that you could hardly see what was going on! When we finally finished, snow had gotten trapped behind the lenses of my glasses and I kept trying to scrape it off. Liam makes the witty comment while chuckling; "Hey Ash, you need windshield wipers for those things!" this causes Katy to burst into another round of hysterical giggles. I attempt to glare at him through a thick layer of snow. It fails and they laugh harder. So a few good points to take away from this blog is the following: In a snowball fight, always wear shoes, take off your glasses, and attack everyone else before they get to you! My snow days were fun, but school is scheduled to be on next week, and I'm back to preparing for exams. Hope everyone is enjoying the new year! Until next time! xoxo SmAsh

The Tales of Fishy Fun-ness!

Hello everyone!

I know I haven't blogged in quite a long time, however today I have had a new and enormously exciting experience, so I just had to share it with you! Mom and Stephen bought a Salmon today; we're going to eat this salmon tomorrow. Now this salmon is whole, the only thing missing is it's guts (oh darn!).

I've never had the pleasure of getting to play with fish heads before, but sure enough this fish has it's head, and Mom came equipped with four extra fish heads for a homemade fish stock. I was practically jumping with excitement, I mean, Come On! Fish heads! Fish heads that I get to play with! What more could any girl want?!

Mom set me up with my own cutting board, a long serrated knife, and a fillet knife. My instructions were simple: cut the heads and the tails in half, and remove the gills. Cutting the head in half was a feat in itself, because the fish were quite slippery. Thankfully I quickly figured out that pushing my thumb and forefinger into the gills help hold the fish still so I could hack through the bone. Holding the fish in this manner also produced the lovely and slightly gross act of squirting blood. It squirted onto my hands and all over my cutting board in lovely, clotted dark red spurts!

Now, it must be pointed out, that I'm used to having my fish already cut up for me, so I've never seen the gills of a fish (with the exception of the goldfish I dissected in the 7th grade, but that fish was tiny). So there was plenty of excitement and learning involved, as I studiously examined the gills, figured out where they joined to the jaw, how they were jointed together, and tried not to stab myself on the teeth (I failed).

Eventually I was able to apply my newly acquired visual knowledge of these gills to that of a chicken wing, so I could figure out how to cut the gills out in two slices (instead of hacking my way through like I had been doing) after that everything came easily, and I felt extremely proud of myself and how fast I was going.

All too soon I was out of fish heads to cut, and then Mom and I moved onto the next phase of making the fish stock; putting the fish into the pot of vegetables and sweating the fish until it turned 'White' (I say it was more of a pale pink colour, but still). I was extremely fascinated by the eyeballs, because they started to pop out of the sockets and float around like little white gobstoppers! Finally, the juice was strained and put into Tupperware containers, and VoilĂ ! We have homemade fish stock!

So yes, I had a good day today ^.^
'Till next time!

New Stuff in Time For the New Year!

Hola everybody!

I have recently come across a wonderful song called River Flows In You by Yiruma, it's a lovely piano piece so if you're interested you can check it out at:

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=1p_ebSseEq8

So in other news, my amazing mother took me to get my hair cut last week!! It's not short like I originally wanted, Sort of last minute I decided I wanted medium length. So now It's lovely with gorgeous layers and goes down just below my shoulders.

Umm, I get out of school for the winter holidays this friday, which is nice. I have two tests when I come back though. An exam in Biology and an End of Unit test is Chemistry, ooh fun! Hehe, Not. In all actuality I don't have much to report at the moment, so I guess that the end of my update! Bye everybody!!

Back into the Olden days.

So Stephen did something wonderful yesterday. I know: strange, that Stephen could do something other than pin me to the floor with a one minded fierce determination to tickle my feet no matter how loud I could scream, how hard I could hit, or how much I tried to wiggle my way free, right? No, this Saturday was different, this Saturday Stephen took me on an adventure. Poor Mom was busy studying away (and apparently getting kicked out) of the library, working on whatever it is the she needs to work on for University. Meanwhile, at nine-in-the-drizzling-morning, I was making my way to the train station with my backpack filled with card games, bottles of water, gummies for snacking on, a camera, and tons of batteries.

Have you figured out where I'm going with this? Stephen took me to be tourist-y. He took me to Leeds Castle. If you have never been or heard of Leeds Castle, then I feel very, very sorry for you! It was wonderful!! The grounds were huge with tons of trees and green grass, lots of lakes and streams: this castle had everything! It had a Maze, an Aviary, a kid's park, and a kid's maze. It had land trains to get you from place to place, and most importantly, It Had Ducks! I'm not talking like a dozen ducks. Oh no, I'm talking TONS of ducks! Ducks with black swans, white swans, geese, moorhens, and coots; and it was just Ashley Heaven!

Here's the hitch, it was raining.

Not nice drizzling rain like it was doing in Canterbury, no-sir-ee-bob! It was POURING! Throughout the whole day I had to suffer and fight because my camera lens kept getting wet; so I have lots of blurry wet spots in my photos. It was amazing how wet it truly was. It just drenched us from head to toe. Especially toe. My shoes happen to be coming apart (they need to be re-glued) so any time I happened to walk into a puddle my feet got the full blast of the cold wet-ness. But it was such a lovely day! The castle was brilliant; we had to enter from the cellar and work our way up. We got to see bedrooms and dining rooms and the library. For anybody who doesn't know, Leeds Castle is built on two little islands in the middle of a lake, so to get from one part of the castle to the other you have to cross a bridge. Of course this bridge is covered so it wasn't draughty or anything, but the people who built it had a hard time dealing with straight lines. The windows were all perfectly straight, but the floor kept getting lower and lower. It was very curious, first you'd have the window come up to your elbow, then your shoulder, then your nose, then the window was too high up for you to even see out of (even on tip-toes!), it was highly amusing.

The maze was terrific fun as well. Since it was raining the pathways were basically gigantic puddles. In certain areas you pretty much had to wade through (that's an exaggeration, but you get my point.) So for me there was a lot of frozen toes and sloshing around. Stephen and I ended up splitting up early on, trying to find the middle. Well, it seems I found every single dead end possible. Stephen and another guy kept running into each other in this maze, so they would tell each other which ways weren't the way to the middle and by elimination, they ended up finding the middle and directing the rest of us through the maze.

In order to get out of the maze (without having to go back through it) you had to go under it, where there was a nifty little grotto. The grotto was made to be spooky and ominous with flashing lights and menacing laughter. The walls and floors were made with seashells and rocks in very interesting and pretty designs. Add flashing color onto them and you've got pretty interesting works of art! It was very nice. And dry....

Anybody want an update??

So hey everyone!

How've y'all been??

I had school photographs yesterday. It was immensely aggravating. Seriously, the photographers they used were horrible, I could easily do much, much better! In the photographs they have no sense of placement, or the levels the students need to be in, in order for everybody to been seen. In last years photographs most of the students had their heads but out of the photos because these photographers but short people standing in the back and tall people standing in the front. It was so annoying! Not to mention the light placement that they have is absolutely absurd, it makes a large majority of the students are in shadow (again due to the placement of the tall people before the short) it was annoying. Also I decided to dress up for these photos, so I completely dress up, slacks, make-up fancy shoes, the whole nine yards! *Cough* I've never worn those shoes before, and so what ended up happening was that I got blisters the size of quarters in my feet, before I even got to the school! It was too painful to wear those shoes anymore, so I went the entire day barefoot.

If I were doing a poll on the effects that footwear has on the people around you, I think I could be a millionaire. Men for the most part didn't really notice the fact that I was barefoot, unless I mentioned something about it, but women picked up on it immediately. It's part of the woman to woman assessment, Examining what the other woman is wearing. The point is that it was cold, I hate dressing up, I'm very pissed with the photographers that the school idiotically hired, and my feet were killing me! The pain of just standing on them was excruciating! So today, I am wearing flip flops. I can't wear actual shoes yet, and the school told me that I can't go bear foot unless it's unavoidable.

Uh.... Oh yes! I'm doing a new photography assignment, one on ageing. A very common theme but one I can get lots and lots of individual research on. The photos are standard black and white frontal viewed portraits. occasionally some of them have colour in the eyes, but usually it's not a very noticeable thing, just something that I do for myself. A large portion of the photos were taken during my trip back to America, although the range jumps around as the models grow older so I have lots of places that need to be filled in with new photos. My photography teacher saw the beginning of these photos (the first five I printed out) and he loved them, so once I complete the series we're going to choose favourite pieces (There's not enough room for them all) and he's going to frame and hang them in the school entrance. Which is an amazingly big deal!!!

Some of the photos are on my Deviant Art if anyone would like to see them the link is www.redpaperflower.deviantart.com But yup. That's me in a nutshell. Anyone want to know anything else? Love you all!

We're Moving House Soon, and I Don't Talk About That In This Post......

My toe, as everyone is wondering, is fine. Apparently not broken, as the pain faded after a few days. The bruising spread to the entire top of my foot, but is finally fading also. This week has been an exciting one for my poor toe... not only was it almost broken, but then the same toe was run over by a speeding tricyclist. I was at work, and managed not to scream. I still don't know how. I don't think that was why the bruising spread, but who actually can tell?

I had a sick adventure this week, too. The wonders of working in Early Childhood is that until your immune system catches up with you, you catch EVERYTHING that the children bring into the classroom. This includes icky-vomitous nasty stomach bugs. Which I caught. Tristan called me on Wednesday night, as I had gone to bed early, and after talking to him I realised that I really felt nauseous. Spent an hour or so in the bathroom, threw up 4 times. Went to bed. Woke up a few hours later. Repeat and rinse. By this time the acid from my stomach was no longer in my stomach and had spread throughout my throat and mouth. It was bad enough that I was not going to be able to sleep through it burning a hole in my esophagus. I dug through the medicine box and found, to my delight, a present left by Kelley when she was here. A liquid antacid. Anise flavoured. Bought at Boots (the 'chemist' - i.e. pharmacy.) Grimacing in advance, then telling myself that beggars cannot be choosers, I took a swig. Ew. So gross that tasting it almost made me sick again, but boy-howdy does the antacid from England work so much better than any I've ever had in the States. 5 minutes later, the burning was gone. Then back to bed me. I had to be up early for work the next morning.

7 am, and I was up calling work to find out if they still wanted me to go in. No answer. Off to work I went, hi-ho, hi-ho. I worked 8 - 9:30, and was told that I look awful, and was asked if I have a history of being 'sickly'. I calmly (I think) explained that it had been a year since working with children, and I was in a new country with new bugs. My immune system is a desert rats'. Not some water-logged river-rats'. They did not understand, but did send me home.

I popped into the store on the way, and made sure we had stuff for the BRAT diet. (We only had rice.) Bananas and wholewheat bread for toast made it into my basket. There was no applesauce, so I add apples to make my own. Then, sparkling water. Now, I have to add a side note about sparkling water. It used to be that I didn't like it. But now I do. It is nice and fizzy and sugar free and yummy goodness. And I was hoping it would settle my stomach. 4 liters in my basket. Luckily I had my backpack. It gives one a new perspective when one has to carry all one's groceries home on one's back. When sick.

Home. Didn't even manage to put all the groceries away. Threw the water into the fridge, fell into bed. Slept. Until 3 in the afternoon. Threw up again. And again. Drank water. Ate banana. Had warm, freshly made applesauce and toast for dinner.

Woke up the next morning feeling so much better. Back to the Work grind.

On an extended note, I really don't like my job very much. I am working in an early childhood center, or at least they claim to be an early childhood center. I actually think it is more like a day care. I work in the preschool classroom, ages 3 - 4, and I can think of so many things I would do differently. The staff in the room are quite content to sit back and do as little as possible, and I work extra hard to cover their slack. The room is filthy, and I have been in the process of going through it during the day and cleaning it, center by center. The other staff have asked me why, and told me that it just isn't worth it. But the children must be affected. I don't want to go into the centers, so what makes me think that the children would want to? They don't teach the children how to take care of the toys or the books. It frustrates me. Christi, I have to say that every day at work I wish fervently that you were here and we were opening an early childhood center together. It is what I day-dream about. We would be cutting edge, and the UK would tremble in awe.

On yet another note, I have 2 huge projects for University next year. One is a literature review, and while I don't know exactly what I am doing (they want something to be VERY narrow scoped, and I haven't gotten it narrow enough, I think) what I have so far is implementing critical literacy in the early childhood classroom. I could use advice, any research, commentary, or even help on narrowing my topic. I am already doing a lot of reading on it. I will also have a large research project in the spring of 2009. I want to do a comparison study between a reception classroom here and a kindergarten classroom there. That will, of course, depend on if I have the money to fly to the US to DO the research, but I would be open to being pointed towards some kindergarten teachers there that might be interested in participating in something like that. There might even be a tie in between classrooms, if the someone is that interested.

Last thing. Ashley made it fine to the States and is now with her Daddy. She almost missed her flight from Houston to El Paso, but the airline was nice and held the plane. I arrive late on the evening of the 17th, for my three weeks of Boo-goodness. I'll update you on all of the Ashley-flight fun next post.

Captain Bubbles End of Year Post!

Captain Bubbles again to update my avid readers!

Sorry it's been so long Folks! I've been struggling through some end of the year stuffs. Things like Exams, studying, getting ready for my trip, distributing my time during my trip, etc. So in first news, I had an english exam about two weeks ago. It went well: Three essays, one right after another, three hours total. One on Drama, 'A Streetcar Named Desire', One on Poetry, on the Theme of Identity, and One on Thomas Hardy's, 'The Return of the Native'. The one on poetry was my strongest essay; I actually enjoyed it, but I ran out of time so the essay was incomplete.

In my science class, I have gotten numerous A* (or A+ for Americans) and my teachers predict that I am going to pass the class with an A. Next year I'm going to be taking A-level Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, and Maths. I have one exam to go, in science. It's coming up on the 23rd. I've been studying for that. The day afterwards I embark on en epic journey! I'm going home, to visit my family and relax for the summer. It'll be fun; time for everyone to see an older version of me.

It's rather hard to update you all, when like I don't know what you want to know! It's not like my life is a bundle of amazement's! So, blah-dy blah blah. OH! So like, there's this boy... His name is David. He is extremely cute! Blonde hair, broad shoulders, and, get this! The other day (while my friends were going through a phase of throwing me into bushes for fun) David threw me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes and then carried me across the patio and placed me down gracefully in front of the bush, made sure I was okay, then pushed me in the bush, very ungracefully I might add.

My friends are quite strange. On Monday you sure missed out on a very amusing sight. My friend Victoria and I are both in a photography class, and currently we have been looking at some of the photographic work of Gregor Schneider, who did a segment on photos containing people in body bags. So as a result, Vicky and I did a teenage spoof response where I was in a garbage bag (body bags for poor people) and we had people come up and hug me, the walking body. Also we did a video of the walking body's story of her visit to Africa. It was great fun and highly embarrassing because I was the bag, and was laughed at.

So yea, I don't have too much else to say. Anything you guys want to know? I'm curious to know, and I also would love to actually have something to write about!

Love you all!
Ashley

I have pictures for you all, but Stephen's away and I can't get on to the site to upload them. Sorry guys! If you want to see some of them go to www.redpaperflower.deviantart.com

Captain Bubbles. Topic: Birthday on Mars

April sixth, 2008: First mission, wake up. It is a difficult task, but the Captain can handle it. Oops, she fell back asleep.... OH NO! The base has been infiltrated by aliens! They're approaching the bed, AND THE CAPTAIN IS STILL ASLEEP!!!! They've climbed aboard the bed, it looks like a tag-team attack, and... whats this? They're CUDDLING THE CAPTAIN! She's not going to be sleeping on the job anymore, I can tell you that much! Alien M has decided the situation looks Under control for Alien S, She goes off to cook, oh watzitcalled... Ah yes! Breakfast! Some strange alien custom that is quite wierd but very appealing. Captain Bubbles thinks she might get a few more minutes of shut-eye, but guess what??!! It's snowing!!!! Snowing? It's never snowed on the Captain's birthday, she really is on an Alien planet! [Dum dum DUM]

Strange ways in the Alien Homebase. Breakfast included Quail Eggs... They tasted fine, the Captain didn't detect any poison.... So far, so good. No assasination attempts, and a hot yummy breakfast in the tummy. The aliens brought over recruites... The Alien Crew is what I'll call them. They were watching the Captain.... she could feel it. They did bring peace offerings though, Books, the Captains' soft spot. Even Alien M and Alien S gave Captain Bubbles this strange offering... she soon found out it was because she was getting OLD! Well, Older.

Bubbles sat with the Aliens for a communal dinner, they were quite nice to have around. They had Spaghetti, With Asparagus! 'They must be buttering me up for something', she thought. 'How could they know my favorite dish?? Oh ya, I told them. Now it's time for Cake?' It was a marvelous cake, with Ducks and Frogs and Trees and a giant river, there were flowers and little penguin decorations for the Captain to eat. Yay for the Captain, she should do this getting older stuff more often. It pays well! It was a magic cake, after eating it, everyones mouths turned GREEN! and Blue, and it was so strange! Thankfully nothing was toxic, the Captian checked. The books were addicting, it's only two days later and Captain Bubbles has finished two of them!

Photobucket

Overall the Captain was pleased, besides being older, she's still alive, in good health (maybe a little fat from all the food there was) and has come to the conclusion that maybe she should have birthdays with Aliens more often!

FROM THE DESK OF: New Mexico

FROM THE DESK OF: New Mexico
[NEW MEXICO, THAT PLACE YOU'RE NOT AT, REMEMBER?]

Dear Ashley,

This is New Mexico. We took a vote and decided that you need to come back or there will be serious s**t.
We were going to send you a "we miss you" card on a cow, but Bill Richardson was like, "no". Hater.

Aaaanyways, since we don't have anything better to do, we might have to build a ship out of cactus, sail to England, and steal you. We don't really know where your house is, but we're sure the British won't care if 2 million New Mexicans on a ship made of cactus float into their harbor unannounced and ask where you are. We bet s**t like that happens in England all the time.

Or you could just come back.

That would be better, to be honest; but if you want to force us to cactus-ship-building, we will do so.

Seriously.

Love,

New Mexico.

P.S. No, really.

P.S.S. If we accidentally land in France or Spain, we're gonna be freaking pissed, so hold up a sign or something so we know where you are.

(Myspace comment sent from Beka to Ashley, 3-26-08. Oh no! Beware of the Cacti boat!)

School, the focus of my universe.

I was told that people were wanting to know how school is going. Well, it's okay. For the sixth formers (16-18 year olds, and where I was placed) the classes run on a block schedule, two classes in the morning, two after lunch. Each day you have a different class, and the schedules rotate in a weekly pattern. The expectations of learning for up here are so much different than the curriculum in America. I'm learning math topics that I wouldn't learn until I was a senior in high school.

I'm taking Math, English, and Photography as major courses, and science as a catch up. In all utter honesty, I'm running ragged. I have always detested the idea that my whole life should revolve around school but because I'm from America I'm already behind in the courses so school is supposed to be my only priority. Now, I say that meaning that I should spend most of my nights studying, but the part of me that really hates school refuses to make my whole world revolve around school (Which means I procrastinate on studying.) I hate studying with a burning passion. But it's something I /Have/ to overcome.

So other than my complete mental exhaustion, school has become only minorly overwhelming. The teachers are becoming more and more agitated with me because some of them have such thick accents and they talk so fast that I can't understand a word they say. So I keep having to ask them to repeat themselves and they get so sick of it. But it's becoming easier: my friends have learned to slow down when they talk and how to recognize when I can't understand them.
So everything is good here, under the circumstances. Thank you for asking. :D
It's an adjustment but one that I'm steadily getting used to.

WoOt the Teen has arrived!

Okie Dokie!
Hello ladies and Gents and all you people who love and worship me! I have been told that you guys have missed me terribly and want me to blog. So...

This is a blog...
It has words...
That I've written...
To you...
Yes, you...
With the face...
*Cough*
.
..
...
..
.
..
...
....
...
..
.
..
...
..
.
So, hi. I guess I should tell you all about Merry Old England. (BTW, Texas has twice the land size as the UK including the Uk's water, and England has a little over twice the population.) So, what's the Football scores? Oh... Wrong country. I don't think I meant soccer... Lets try this again shall we? So, whats the Rugby scores? Hehe, I honestly don't know what to say to you. I bet your expecting the whole 'Oh, it's green' or 'Oh it's cold' or 'Oh, the people talk funny' type bit, or maybe the whole 'I miss home', 'I miss you so much!', and 'I miss the Hot Cheetos' type thing. Well, I really do miss the Cheetos. Hehe I made a funny....

I would think that you would know that I miss you guys so terribly, that I think about you often, and you should know change is hard. I find this country so weird, and even though we're speaking the same language the language barrier is quite big. Here's some news you might not know: My boyfriend from the states and I are still together. You think I'm crazy. I can feel it. Umm, anyway yes, I AM crazy, but I love him to pieces and I won't give him up for every British guy and girl that this over populated country can throw at me! Now let me tell you something, long distanced relationships are hard, like Mondo hard. But totally worth it.

So school is fine; struggling in math, I'm expected to already know Calculus, Statistics, Algebra two... the list goes on and on about the things I wouldn't learn for another year or more in America. But it's all good, people LOVE my accent. "It's southern, and so American!" I only have a southern-ish accent around my family, thank you very much. This came from the same people who thought that our States were really the equivilant of Cities and Towns (Yes, America only has like 50 Cities.) They can act so stupid. I bet they get just as frustrated with me because I know nothing about England.

I'm taking a photography class and doing pretty well, considering I've already broken one of the schools cameras. Now I KNOW you're laughing at me, I can hear it from over here! It's not my fault I dropped it on a window sill! (Now is your time to laugh hysterically and send me comments saying, "ROFL[Roll On Floor Laughing], you're such a klutz!" But anyway other than that I'm an amazing student!
Hmm... I was going to show you a picture, but it's not letting me... Next time I snag a school computer I'll post some B-E-A-utiful pidders for you. ( I meant to spell pictures incorrectly just so you know.)

But ya, the life of Ashley consists of mostly school, reading, hoping my stuff will arrive soon (I want the rest of my clothes!), and reading. Oh, plus all the nessesities (E.g. Shower, brush teeth, eat, you get my drift?) So ya, isn't my life lovely? Muahahaha You so wish you were me right now. Don't you wish that you were the one who gets to poison a new country with your White, Trailer Trash/American Toxins and stuff? Like, Totally!

Haha, Love you all!

With her First Appearance!

Hello People!

I just wanted to explain that I'm not really posting, mostly because I have no clue what's going on. I usually find out when Momma and I talk. Which doesn't happen too often lately.

I'll have many more things to say when I get back into town and I really get to be in the thick of everything. The one thing I do know that I don't think has been said is that the movers are coming for our stuff on the 24th. So Momma and I will be floating around the city for awhile.

Well, I don't have much to say currently. If you have questions you would like me to answer, please comment and I'll get to them.

I love you all!
